Economic Development

Bainbridge Township is the southern gateway to Geauga County with direct access from I-422. Our unique location positions us at the four corners of Geauga, Cuyahoga, Portage, and Summit Counties. Approximately thirty miles from both Cleveland and Akron and under an hour to Youngstown places us in the center of opportunity yet far enough away to offer a semi-rural community atmosphere for our businesses and families. Large lots, suburban neighborhoods, numerous parks and sports fields, and convenient access to diverse and plentiful shopping combine to offer our residents the perfect blend of quiet, scenic living that is close to the arts, nightlife, and workplace of the urban centers of northeast Ohio.

We have an affluent and well-educated population with a household median income of just over $115,000 which makes Bainbridge Township an ideal place to launch or expand a business. We have a built-in customer-base of over 11,400 residents spread out over 25 square miles. We encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and are a responsive community interested in supporting, encouraging, advancing, and promoting collaborative, strategic, and sustainable economic development that improves the lives of residents, increases business investment, and promotes the township as a thriving and vibrant place to call home.  For these reasons and many more, Bainbridge Township is the right choice for your business opportunity.

Should you have any questions about locating a business in Bainbridge Township, your first place to start is with our Zoning Department and Karen Endres, our Zoning Inspector. She can be reached at (440) 543-9871 x6223.
